England squad for Euro 2024 announced
Eze and Wharton receive call-ups
Crystal Palace pair Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton have been named in England's squad for Euro 2024. The duo are part of a 33-man provisional squad announced by manager Gareth Southgate on Friday.
Southgate has until 11pm on Friday to name his final 26-man squad for the tournament, which will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14.
England have been drawn in Group D alongside Croatia, Czech Republic and Scotland.
Other notable inclusions
Other notable inclusions in the squad include Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who has been in impressive form for Nottingham Forest on loan this season.
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has also been recalled to the squad after missing out on the World Cup last year.
